North Pole Breakfast

December 11, 2018

North Pole Breakfast

December 1st is one of the days I look forward to all year long. We kick off every December with the return of our elf , Clark and a North Pole Breakfast. Our elf return's every year on the 1st, and we have been doing the North Pole Breakfast for the past 3 years. Kona was 3 when we started this tradition, and the fun and magic is still going strong. This is the first year that Kai kinda understands what's going on, so seeing his little face light up and get excited has been my favorite. He was a little confused at first about what was going on, but once we explained it to him he was all for READ MORE

Christmas Wedding Storyboard

Christmas Wedding Storyboard

Happy Friday! We have finally made it to the middle of November, which means that Christmas is right around the corner! In our house we wait to decorate until Thanksgiving weekend. On Saturday or Sunday we'll head to the mountains, with cups of coffee and hot chocolate, and cut down our Christmas tree's. After that, the Christmas decorating and fun begins! It's my favorite time of the year, and right now I'm itching to get all my Christmas décor out. White I pationetly wait I decided to get my Christmas fix by creating a Christmas wedding storyboard. When I plan weddings for my amazing READ MORE

Pumpkin Patch Birthday Party

November 9, 2018

Pumpkin Patch Birthday Party

Two weeks ago we celebrated Kai's second birthday with a pumpkin patch birthday party! This party was super simple to put together, but so much fun. The pumpkin patch had a barn area that we were able to decorate and have all of our pumpkin treats and cake. We really didn't need to decorate much since there were picnic tables, hay and pumpkins everywhere. It was the perfect setting for a fall birthday party! We kept the decorating and food pretty low key and focused more on the fun and activities the pumpkin patch provided. I also tried to keep the food more fall friendly and not so much READ MORE

Halloween 2018

Halloween 2018

Happy Friday and happy November! Halloween has come and gone and it was the best one yet! The boys are at such a fun age and Kai is finally old enough to really get into it. They have been talking about Halloween for months now and carrying their pumpkin buckets around the house pretending to Trick or Treat all week. Every year we do family themed costumes, and we had been planning on the boys going as a fish and bobber and J.D. and I going as fishermen. Our plans all changed when Kona watched Hotel Transylvania and decided he wanted to be a vampire. Kai quickly got on board (he'll seriously READ MORE

Popcorn Corn on the Cob Tutorial + 7 Kids Halloween Treats

With Halloween less than a week away I wanted to share some fun Halloween treats for kids. If your kids are anything like mine they love fun food, especially if it's holiday themed. I made these adorable popcorn corn on the cob treats for my sons birthday party last weekend and they were too cute not to share! They are super simple, but do take a little bit of time. I just wanted to make sure I pointed that out because I didn't give myself enough time and then was scrambling the rest of the day. Oops! What You'll Need Ziplock baggies Tape Popcorn Green tissue READ MORE

Pumpkin Painting Party

Pumpkin Painting Party

When I made our fall bucket list a pumpkin painting party was at the top. We started painting pumpkins with Kona, when I was pregnant with Kai, for an easy and festive craft. He loved it so much, that now we paint several pumpkins every year. Last year we decided to start a new tradition and invited our favorite neighborhood girls over for a little pumpkin painting party. I couldn't wait to introduce Kai to our yearly tradition, I knew he was going to love it! So, on a perfect fall afternoon, we got our painting on. I grabbed 4 smaller pumpkins when we went to the pumpkin patch, laid READ MORE
