Happy Tuesday! It's already the middle of January and I can't believe it. Usually January seems to drag on here in Montana because of the weather, but this year the weather couldn't be more perfect. We have been enjoying getting outside and are growing very anxious for spring. Every year I get so excited for Valentine's Day, it breaks up the long winter and gives us a reason to celebrate with those we love. Last month I started a wedding storyboard series and this month I'm continuing it with a Valentine's wedding storyboard! All of the pink, white and red makes me so excited! Even if you're READ MORE
North Pole Breakfast
December 1st is one of the days I look forward to all year long. We kick off every December with the return of our elf , Clark and a North Pole Breakfast. Our elf return's every year on the 1st, and we have been doing the North Pole Breakfast for the past 3 years. Kona was 3 when we started this tradition, and the fun and magic is still going strong. This is the first year that Kai kinda understands what's going on, so seeing his little face light up and get excited has been my favorite. He was a little confused at first about what was going on, but once we explained it to him he was all for READ MORE

Pumpkin Patch Birthday Party
Two weeks ago we celebrated Kai's second birthday with a pumpkin patch birthday party! This party was super simple to put together, but so much fun. The pumpkin patch had a barn area that we were able to decorate and have all of our pumpkin treats and cake. We really didn't need to decorate much since there were picnic tables, hay and pumpkins everywhere. It was the perfect setting for a fall birthday party! We kept the decorating and food pretty low key and focused more on the fun and activities the pumpkin patch provided. I also tried to keep the food more fall friendly and not so much READ MORE
Halloween 2018
Happy Friday and happy November! Halloween has come and gone and it was the best one yet! The boys are at such a fun age and Kai is finally old enough to really get into it. They have been talking about Halloween for months now and carrying their pumpkin buckets around the house pretending to Trick or Treat all week. Every year we do family themed costumes, and we had been planning on the boys going as a fish and bobber and J.D. and I going as fishermen. Our plans all changed when Kona watched Hotel Transylvania and decided he wanted to be a vampire. Kai quickly got on board (he'll seriously READ MORE

With Halloween less than a week away I wanted to share some fun Halloween treats for kids. If your kids are anything like mine they love fun food, especially if it's holiday themed. I made these adorable popcorn corn on the cob treats for my sons birthday party last weekend and they were too cute not to share! They are super simple, but do take a little bit of time. I just wanted to make sure I pointed that out because I didn't give myself enough time and then was scrambling the rest of the day. Oops!
