With a birthday so close to the 4th of July a red, white and blue themed party is a must! The weather was gorgeous, the company was fantastic, and the food was amazing. What more could we ask for? It was the perfect way to reflect on Kona’s first year and celebrate with family and friends. From the smash cake, desert table, picture banner and balloons there was red, white and blue around every corner. For lunch we had a backyard bbq complete with burgers, hotdogs, strawberries, blueberries, salads, and chips. Cupcakes and red, white, and blue snow cones were on the menu for desert! The day was absolutly perfect and we had the best time celebrating this sweet one year old!

First birthday parties are among my favorite to plan! Who doesn’t love a good cake smash?! The birthday boys Mom had the idea of a classic toy party and I couldn’t wait to pull it all together. Searching for toys and talking about all of our favorites was a serious blast from the past. From sock monkeys, Slinky’s as party favors and a ring stacker cake everything came together perfectly. What a wonderful day we had celebrating sweet baby Owen!

Roar! Planning this dinosaur party for a 4 year old dinosaur fanatic was so fun! The sweet birthday boy was so excited and had lots of ideas about the cake, decorations and fun things to do. Having him be apart of the planning process was so sweet and extra special. All of the decoration were made from construction paper, streamers and dinosaurs that were already on hand. For the food table I cut out leaves from 3 different colors of green, used orange construction paper for the roar and finished it with green streamers. The table decorations had more leaves that I placed different sized dinosaurs around. I also cut out foot prints and had them all over the patio. For lunch we had sandwiches for carnivore food, veggies for herbivore food, fruit for “dino spikes” and “dino eggs”, chips for “dino claws” and “dino bones”, dip, salads and Kool-Aid and ice tea for “swamp water”. The cake was make out of molds found on Amazon and white chocolate. The birthday boy flipped when he saw the cake! After cake and ice cream a special dinosaur made an appearance! The evening ended with a fire, s’mores and sparklers. It was a perfect day for this dinosaur loving boy!

The circus is coming to town! With the birthday boy completely obsessed with popcorn and animals I knew this circus theme was going to be a hit. We turned the dinning room into a big top with streamers hanging from the walls and bowed on the celling along with balloons covering the floor and a wall mural. Cake, cupcakes, animal crackers a popcorn bar and a vintage circus train completed the indoor décor. The party continued outside with games, balloon animals, tattoos and photo booth props. The kids had a blast and the birthday boy didn’t want his party to end. That is a complete win in my book!
